The statement under discussion is clearly a product of Abiy Ahmed’s machination of generating conflict and profiting from it.
What we should ask is why puppet ANDM (Amhara pp) was ordered by its boss, Abiy Ahmed, to issue such an uncharacteristic statement at a time when preparations for the invasion and hand-over of Welkait have been finalized.
Was the statement meant to psychologically isolate the Amhara people via counter-statements that it is meant to attract from all champions of the current ethno-apartheid system? What is the significance of its timing, following the tidal wave of the attack on the Ethiopian Church and preceding the all-out Welkait invasion?
It is very sad to watch our “intellectuals” like Dr. Aklog keep going with their very absurd way of thinking about the very political nature and behavior of the so-called Amhara Prosperity Party and of course Abyi Ahmed’s and his deadly political company called the Oromo Prosperity Party!
